I stayed at the hotep Europa for 18 nights and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the breakfast exceeded expectations. The receptionist was consistently helpful. I confidently recommend this hotel, finding it to be superior to several 4-star establishments I've visited during my travels.
The reception is a positive point, but the overall condition of the hotel and the room left much to be desired. The worn-out and dirty room, with stains on various fabric surfaces, is certainly not acceptable. The broken bed frame and unidentified stains on the mattress are major issues. Finding hair and other cleanliness concerns in the bed is also unacceptable... The only aspect that was in order and clean in the room was the bathroom. However, a significant issue was the ventilation, which sounded like an airplane taking off due to its connection with the light switch. Additionally, there was another loud ventilation noise coming from an unidentified source. All in all, it made for a very noisy night ;) Breakfast is served in the basement, which, in itself, isn't a problem, but it's quite meager and has a bit of the charm of a prison kitchen.I cannot recommend the hotel, unfortunately.

They use a ton of artificial air freshener (coming from central ventillation system and can't be stopped) to disguise moldy smell coming from bathroom. Avoid this hotel if you are allergic to or want to avoid exposure to artificial fragrance.
Great breakfast variety, solid coffee from the coffee machine (quite a surprise).
A nice, quiet hotel with kind staff. Quite good looking building. A short 10 minute walk from the city center.
20 minute walk to the main train station, good location.
The bed was comfortable, but a double bed comes with 2 single mattresses, therefore it's not connected and it happens quite often that the mattresses slide off.
The tabouret in front of the bed was stained. The chair in the middle of the room was stained.
The bathroom tub should have a wider cover, so the water doesn't splash outside when taking a shower.
The walls were dirty on some spots.
Decent sized room, comfortable bed and plentiful breakfast.
Location was peaceful yet close to city Square and parks.
Downsides was the bar being closed (looked like refurbishment going on)
Quiet and good location with great breakfast. The rooms are old with a carpet floor but all is clean, also the bathroom was clean and the mattresses are comfy. One thing I would recommend the facility manager though is to oil the hinges of the extra beds, those are quite noisy when turning and have a very thin mattress.
